It has a tight molecular structure and retains heat. Try to soak silicone toy (make sure it's waterproof) in the warm water before using it to get nice warm feeling. Silicone also repels dirt and bacteria and doesn't fall apart with extended friction.
For Hygiene and Maintenance, it can be fully disinfected by boiling it for 3 minutes or by throwing it into the top rack of your dishwasher.
Please notice that you can only use Water based lubricant for Silicone Products.
Also most of silicone products are Phthalate Free which is safe to directly use inside your body.
TPR / TPE
TPR / TPE is a polymer blend or compound that exhibits a thermoplastic character.
It has an excellent flexural fatigue resistance and high impact strength. It start out soft and have product added to make them harder. This type of material is ideal for manufacturing a variety of textures.
For Hygiene and Maintenance, TPR is more porous than silicone, so we recommend using condoms when sharing. TPR toys cannot be disinfected with boiling water.
You can wash them with warm water and toy cleaner or mild soap.
TPR / TPE products can use both Water and Silicone based lubricant. Also most of TPR / TPE products are Phthalate free which is safe to use.
Rubber
Rubber is an elastic hydrocarbon polymer which occurs as a milky emulsion in the sap of a number of plants but can also be produced synthetically.
It is a porous material with exceptional wear-resistance and extremely long lifetime.
It is dirt-repellent with a color range more than 260 standard colors. High footfall sound absorption without additional outlay and a cost-efficient cleaning without coating.
For Hygiene and Maintenance, being porous, rubber does not clean well. You can make a rubber toy last longer and keep it cleaner by using a condom over it each use.
Rubber products can use both Water and Silicone based lubricant.
Jelly
Jelly component is poly vinyl chloride. And Jelly toys come in great variety of brilliant colors. They are pleasantly smooth and have rubbery feel and scent.
Jelly material can't be sterilized like silicone-so no boiling water. Since jelly toys can't be sanitized they can't be shared-unless you put a condom over them. Clean jelly toys with the warm water and toy cleaner. Don't use strong soaps on them and keep in a cool dark place.
Jelly products can use both Water and Silicone based lubricant.
PVC
PVC is so called synthetic or semi synthetic polymerization product. It is non-porous and phthalate-free material with a firm, smooth textures and also safe to use.
For Hygiene and Maintenance, it can easily be cleaned with antibacterial soap and hot water or by wiping down with isopropyl alcohol.
PVC products can use both Water, Oil and Silicone based lubricant.
Leather
When we stated Leather, it means 100% Genius Leather, Guaranteed.
Leather is a water resistant material with a high tensile strength and high resistance to tear. Usually used for harnesses and restraints it has high resistance to flexing and to puncture. Good heat insulator.
For Hygiene and Maintenance, if dirt adhering to the leather can be removed with a damp cloth, using a mild soap if needed.
Borosilicate Glass
Borosilicate Glass is inorganic non metallic solid material that does not have a crystalline structure and is usually transparent or translucent.
Glass is a hard, non-porous and phthalate-free material with a high chemical resistance and mechanical strength. It retains temperature extremely well and requires only a little lube for a super-slippery effect.
For Hygiene and Maintenance, Glass is extremely smooth and nonporous. Easy to clean, with soap/water or sex toy cleaner. Use condoms if sharing.
Glass products can use both Water, Oil and Silicone based lubricant.
ABS
It is Synthetic or semisynthetic polymerization product that is composed of organic condensation or polymers addition.
Velvety to the touch, non-porous and phthalate-free, ABS is easy to clean, lubricant friendly and a great conductor of vibrations.
For Hygiene and Maintenance, clean with anti-bacterial soap and water or wipe down with isopropyl alcohol. Do not boil.
ABS products can use both Water and Silicone Based lubricant.
Chiffon
Chiffon is usually made of nylon. It is a lightweight, plain-woven sheer fabric with some stretch and a slightly rough feel.
For Hygiene and Maintenance, chiffon must be hand washed very gently.
Mesh
Mesh is kind of Synthetic fibers, it is soft and stretchy.
For Hygience and Maintenance, this material can be machine washed at 30 degrees.
Lace should not be bleached and ironed. It also shouldn't be tumbled and dry cleaned.
Satin
Satin is a cloth that typically has a glossy surface and a dull back. A satin is a warp-dominated weaving technique that forms a minimum number of interlacings in a fabric.
A satin fabric tends to have a high luster due to the high number of "floats" on the fabric.
Floats are "missed" interlacings, where, the warp yarn lays on top of the weft yarn, or vice versa. The floats tend to make the fabric look glossier as well as give it a smoother hand in most cases.
For Hygiene and Maintenance, Satin can not stand high temperatures so never soak, boil or bleach this material. Wash in tepid water and allow drying in an airy place.
Cotton
Cotton is natural cellulose fiber, it is comfortably soft material with a good absorbency and good strength. Cotton is color retention, machine-washable and dry-cleanable material. Easy to handle and sew.
For Hygiene and Maintenance, Cotton can stand high temperatures and takes dyes easily.
Chlorine bleach can be used to restore white garments to a clear white but this bleach may yellow chemically finished cottons or remove color in dyed cottons. Boiling and sterilizing temperatures can also be used on cotton without disintegration. Cotton can also be ironed at relatively high temperatures, stands up to abrasion and wears well.

What is Phthalate Free?

Phthalates are chemical compounds made from alcohol and phthalic anhydride that are added to PVC to make them soft and flexible, then become a product so called jelly rubber.
Questions have been arising regarding the safety of the use of phthalates.
Studies performed on rodents involving large amounts of phthalates have shown damage to certain organs such as the liver, kidneys, and the lungs.
However, regulatory agencies and independent authorities have found that phthalates are safe to use in vinyl products and personal care products. There is no reliable evidence that any phthalate has caused harm in any human in the fifty years that phthalates have been used. However, many of the Adult Toy manufacturers are moving towards phthalate-free alternatives to use in their toys, such as Elastomers.
For the products stating Phthalate Free, it does mean no Phthalate and you found that material like Silicone, TPE and TPR are all Phthalate Free material.
